Not Another Post About Gay Rights

This post is not about gay rights, but about something a friend of mine, Maria said. Maria, coming from a religious family, always wears skirts (except P.E.). It's not something Zoey, Georgia and I mind, but a lot of people bully her about that.
She just said that it's not possible for people to accept gay people, when they can't accept a clothing choice of a person.
In my opinion, I don't think that the greek society is going to embrace the LGBT community in the near future.
We should start taking little steps and accept goth/emo/scene/etc people first.
I think that the majority of the greek population (mostly people 40+) are in a great percentage ignorant about teenagers who cut themselves, with low self esteem issues, with suicidal thoughts and if they do, they don't pay as much attention as needed. And that sucks, because these people are our parents.
The main reason of this is the fact that there were rapid changes in everything since our parents were teenagers. My parents didn't even have a tv in their house when they were kids.
Let's get this straight. It's too early for Greece to accept a lot of things.
